The Phoenix is a weekly all-ages comic running in the UK at the moment and it is filled with some excellent stories and art. Pirates of the Pangaea is something I’ve wanted to draw fanart for in particular! The series is drawn by the lovely Neill Cameron and features pirates and dinosaurs. Lots of pirates, riding LOTS of dinosaurs. And it stars Sophie here, the kind of badass who will capture and train a T-Rex and name it Cornflower.
I would imagine a T-Rex would enjoy a chin scratch!
Gumbo gets all sad about his ice cream. Then Charlie pats him on the hand and buys him a balloon instead.
She gets him one shaped like a piggy.
Gunnerkrigg Court is one of my favourite comics out there and if you aren’t reading it you’re missing out! Quick sketch of Robot and Shadow. I’d say they were two of my favourite characters but… everyone is my favourite character in that comic.
Here’s a handy link to the very start of the comic, just in case you want to spend a day or two reading the entire archive. Just in case! (ps you should)
